Ramp Closed, Detour for I-75/I-4 Interchange Construction

The Florida Department of Transportation reports the following traffic impacts associated with construction at the I-74/I-5 interchange in the Tampa area:

  • The southbound I-75 Exit 261 ramp to eastbound and westbound I-4 may be closed between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. Monday and Tuesday (September 24 and 25) nights.
  • DETOUR: Continue south past the closed ramp, use Exit 260 to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard/SR 574, turn left at the top of the ramp and go east on SR 574 over I-75, then turn left and enter northbound I-75. Once on northbound I-75, use Exit 261 to go to eastbound or westbound I-4.

Southbound I-75 from south of Fowler Avenue (Exit 265) to I-4 (Exit 261)

  • Nightly southbound lane closures: Sunday, September 23 through Thursday, September 27 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
