The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) reports that, as part of the Interstate 75/Thru the Valley project, the following overnight ramp and lane closures will be in effect on Interstate 75 for a traffic switch next week.
- Beginning at 10:00 p.m. Monday, November 28, the ramp from I-75 South to Sharon Road will be closed. In addition, the ramp from Sharon Road to I-75 South will be closed. Both ramps will not be closed at the same time, and all closures will be lifted by 5:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 29.
- Then, beginning at 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, single-lane closures will be in place on I-75 North from Glendale-Milford Road to Sharon Road, followed by double-lane closures at 11:00 p.m. Also, the ramp from Sharon Road to I-75 North will be closed at 10:00 p.m., and short-term full closures will be in place on I-75 North in order to switch traffic to the median (center) lanes.
All restrictions will be lifted by 5:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 30, with northbound traffic fully shifted to the median lanes.
- On Wednesday, the ramp from I-75 North to Sharon Road will be closed until 5:00 a.m. Thursday, December 1.
- On Thursday, the ramp from Sharon Road to I-75 North will be closed until 5:00 a.m. Friday, December 2.
All work will be contingent upon the weather, and motorists are reminded of the need for additional caution in the affected areas.
