The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) reports that Duke Energy has scheduled a series of rolling roadblocks on I-71/75 in Kenton County on Sunday, January 22, so a crew can remove old utility lines. The project area is around mile marker 184, near exit 184B to KY 236 (Erlanger) on the I-275 collector distributor ramp to I-71/75 southbound. On the northbound side, this area is just before the I-71/75 and I-275 split.

Rolling roadblocks will be initiated during early morning hours on Sunday, January 22, from 12:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. Traffic will be slowed incrementally, for 15 minute intervals, in each direction of the interstate. Law enforcement will assist with traffic control.

Messages boards are in place to notify the public. Motorists should expect short delays while traveling through the work zone.
