The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has allocated approximately $500,000 for drainage work along the southbound lanes of I-75, spanning from Court Street to US-23 in Genesee County. This comprehensive initiative encompasses repairs to drainage structures and barrier walls, aimed at enhancing the highway’s operational resilience.
Beginning Monday, October 14, 2024, the project is scheduled to be completed by Monday, November 14, 2024. To minimize disruption, the maintenance will proceed in two phases. The first phase, from Court Street to Miller Road, is set to be completed by October 31. Subsequently, the focus will shift to the segment from Miller Road to US-23, anticipated to last two weeks.
Throughout the project’s duration, two lanes will remain open at all times, ensuring efficient traffic flow.
