The Florida Department of Transportation reports that the southbound I-75 ramp from Gibsonton Drive (exit 250) is closing from 11:00 p.m. Thursday, April 22 to 5:00 a.m. Friday, April 23, weather permitting.

During this closure, motorists will continue east on Gibsonton Drive, south on US 301, west on Big Bend Road (CR 672) to southbound I-75.

Advanced warning signs and electronic message boards will be used to assist motorists traveling through the detour route. Motorists should anticipate delays and congestion during this temporary ramp closure.

This temporary closure is part of a $9.8 million repaving project of I-75 between Big Bend Road (CR 672) and Progress Boulevard in Hillsborough County.
