Great News! Southbound I-75 ramp to I-4 opens in final configuration ahead of schedule!

The Florida Department of Transportation reports that the southbound I-75 Exit 261 ramp to I-4 opened in its final configuration on December 11, adding almost another half mile to the exit lane and opening a second lane on the ramp all the way to the split to eastbound/westbound I-4.

Drivers now have use of two lanes for over one mile approaching I-4. At the decision point to go to eastbound or westbound I-4, traffic in the right lane flows onto westbound I-4; traffic in the left lane flows onto eastbound I-4.

Drivers should be alert to the changed conditions and to workers in the area, as this is still an active construction zone!
