Stopped Traffic, Potential Delays for I-75 Construction in Tennessee

The Tennessee Department of Transportation reports the following traffic impacts associated with I-75 construction and maintenance operations this week:

  • ANDERSON COUNTY, I-75 North near Mile Marker 129: On Tuesday, January 8, 2019, motorists should be alert for possible lane closures between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. as crews perform bridge inspections. Motorists should be alert for workers present, slowed traffic and expect potential delays through this area.
  • CAMPBELL COUNTY, I-75 South at the Kentucky/Tennessee State Line: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures nightly between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. the following morning through this project. Motorists should be alert and use caution as crews construct Welcome Center exit ramp. Motorists should be alert for possible slowed traffic, expect potential delays and use extreme caution through this area.
  • CAMPBELL COUNTY, I-75 North and South between Mile Markers 135 and 142: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. the following morning through this project. Motorists should be alert for slowed or stopped traffic, expect potential delays and use extreme caution through this area.
