The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet reports that the southbound Interstate 75 off-ramp at exit 62 (Renfro Valley) in Rockcastle County will be temporarily closed during the week starting Sunday, October 14. Crews will be performing rock removal as part of the I-75 widening project.

For four weeks, the ramp will close on Sunday nights at 7:00 p.m. and reopen Friday mornings at 6:00 a.m.

Motorists will detour at exit 59 onto U.S. 25 to KY 461 and reconnect with U.S. 25. Signs will be posted along detour route. The southbound I-75 on-ramp at exit 62 will remain open to traffic.

The starting date and duration of work may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays.
