Traffic Shifts, Lane Closures for I-75 Construction in Ohio Beginning September 28

The Ohio Department of Transportation reports that the following construction projects are anticipated to affect Interstate 75 in Miami County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting.

Interstate 75 Bridge replacement– Two bridges are being replaced on I-75 between U.S. 36 and County Road 25A (south of Piqua).  I-75 will experience a traffic pattern shift and lane restrictions. Estimated completion: Summer 2020.

NEW IMPACTS:

Interstate 75 Bridge and Wall Sweeping – Expect daily lane closures on I-75 in both directions between Northwoods Boulevard and C.R. 25-A on Monday, September 28 to Friday, October 2 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained at all times.
