Two Lanes of I-75 Closed Wednesday in Georgia, Expect Delays

Weather permitting, Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) maintenance crews will be resurfacing a portion of I-75 in Whitfield County on Wednesday. The repairs will close two northbound left lanes, and motorists should expect delays. This work was originally scheduled for today, but the weather required a change in plans.

Closures will take place Wednesday, May 5 from 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

WHERE: The two northbound left lanes of I-75 will be closed between mileposts 328.8 and 329.2.

Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones.
